My name is John DoRosario, NASM-CPT, ATC, MS. I am a certified personal trainer, fitness consultant, and the founder of Fit.Mo.U. My experience in the fitness and athletic industry spans more than 20 years in athletic training in basketball and football at the Division 1 college level, as well as working with athletes from high school through the professional level. I have had the pleasure of working with athletes at the Olympic games in 1996 and 2014 and supporting teams reaching the NCAA championship level for basketball, tennis, and golf. My network has afforded me the tremendous opportunity to work with the Special Olympics and the Red Hot Chili Peppers when their tour came to town.

I have always been an avid fitness and injury prevention enthusiast. I played basketball and ran track and field from 8 years old through high school. It was only natural that I pursue an undergraduate and graduate education focused on athletic training. College life revolved around fitness workouts, conditioning injured athletes, and finding every opportunity to practice my athletic training education. My professional career has seen a steady progression of working with elite athletes and teams, from the collegiate to the professional. There are many trade secrets cultivated from my experience working with top performing athletes that I am excited to share with my personal training clients. My areas of training focus reflect my passion for fitness conditioning, the importance of proper technique for maximum fitness benefit and injury prevention and recovery. My practical, functional fitness routines help my clients realize their goals and see results.

On the fitness side of my life when I am not working out with clients, I enjoy participating in basketball pickup games, weight lifting, and 100-mile cycling tours. For fun, you will find me at live music events, watching soccer, and biking Chicago neighborhoods to discover new fun healthy food options.

Health and fitness are as much about what your body looks like on the outside as it is about how it functions on the inside. Your heart is a muscle, too, and my workouts will get your heart-rate up.
